You can send email or SMS notification in bulk to attendees. This is possible through the Spotix Campaign Service (SCS).
This article guides you how to set up an email campaign and what the campaign page tells you. Understanding how billing works is a separate article covered here.
SCS delivers email campaigns under an event you have created on Spotix. It does not have to be an active event, this means even if the event has ended, you can still use it. To begin, select create campaign and choose Bulk Email
In the bulk email creation wizard, you may choose the correct event you'd wish to send the email under, choose the campaign name and then choose the reply address if you expect replies. The next step is audience configuration. You have four choices:
- Current Event: This is the default choice, you may load the emails of people who have already gotten a ticket.
- Previous Events: If you've hosted an event on Spotix before, you may still reuse the email data to send emails in your campaign. Note that currently if you were a team member of an event, you can't import emails directly, ask the creator to share with you the email list.
- External sources: If you purchased email from third party services, or got from an event creator, you can upload the csv file and we will add their mails.
- Manual: You may also manually fill in the emails of recipients.
The next step is to fill in the content of the mail, choose any template provided and then choose the colors that suite your brand's voice. Lastly, you review and send. To ensure deliverability of mails, we may perform 2 sets of reviews before your campaign is sent. Both are automated, the first review happens as soon as you create the campaign, if your mail contains certain inappropriate words, we will flag them. We do this so that the mail client doesn't think the email is spam. The second review is done at SCS Virtual Posting. We use AI to further inspect the mail and flag mails if needed.
