The Global Registry is designed to efficiently receive and store attendee information as ticket purchases are made. This helps Spotix process ticket purchases quickly and ensures a smooth experience for your attendees.
Understanding the Global Registry
The Global Registry is a centralized collection of attendee information associated with your events
It is designed as a write-first system. In simple terms, this means the system is optimized to quickly add new attendee information to the registry as ticket purchases occur.
This allows Spotix to efficiently process ticket purchases without making the attendee experience unnecessarily slow.
Note: Write-first does not mean that information cannot be retrieved from the registry. You can still view and access attendee information from the Attendees Tab.
Guest Registry
Downloading the Guest Registry
- Open the Attendees Tab for your event.
- Click the Download button.
- On larger screens, the button is located at the top-right of the page, beside the Filter button.
- On mobile devices, the Download button appears below the Filter button.
- Select the JSON format when downloading the registry.
Important: If you intend to use the Guest Registry with the Spotix Offline Scanner, download the .json file, not the .csv file. The Offline Scanner requires the JSON format.
Sync Key
When you download the Guest Registry, Spotix will generate a Sync Key.
Keep this Sync Key safe. It is required when you want to synchronize attendee and ticket data collected by the Offline Scanner back to the Global Registry.
Important: Do not lose your Sync Key. You will need it to send your offline event data back to Spotix.
Viewing an Attendee's Tickets
Simply click on an attendee to open their information. You will be able to see the tickets they have purchased, making it easier to identify all tickets associated with a particular attendee.
